Administrators of Christ Church and St John’s
The post of Parish Administrator was introduced in 1984, the intent being to allow the Vicar to focus on preaching and pastoral ministry, having been released from the burden of administration. To date, there have been six Parish Administrators at Christ Church.

This role was known as the Vicar's Secretary until 2014, when Anna Larkin was appointed as Assistant Administrator. Then, as the use of IT within the office functions became more prevelant, and the Church presence on social media increasingly important, Anna's role expanded to become Communications and Finance Officer. Alison Bailey was appointed as Administrative and Finance Officer when Anna Larkin assumed the role of Parish Administrator in May 2026.
