Stephen Kuhrt responds to the current crisis
Our Vicar, Stephen Kuhrt has recently written about the response needed to the current crisis in safeguarding in the Church of England.
On 10th November he wrote an article calling for the resignation of the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, because of his mishandling of the case of John Smyth. (This was hosted on his brother Jon's Grace + Truth blog.)
On 18th December Stephen wrote a second article, calling for the resignation of the Archbishop of York because of his mishandling of the case of David Tudor.
Stephen's book Safeguarding the Institution: How the culture of the Church of England facilitates abuse will be published in early 2025.
