One of the most important aspects of a church is the development of good and meaningful relationships. In a genuinely Christian community, these relationships should be ones that directly cross those boundaries that often divide the world - race, status, wealth and gender.
In 2004 a FUN Committee was established at Christ Church. Standing for ‘Friendship Unlimited Now’, the aim of FUNC is develop and strengthen our relationships and community with one another so that we steadily become more fully church.
FUNC is chaired by Jon Cook and in the past few years the events it has organised have included Harvest Suppers (with a varieties of different themes for their ‘entertainment’), ‘Sound of Music’ and ‘Frozen’ sing-a-longs, quiz nights, an annual trip down to the seaside at Littlehampton and Ten Pin Bowling at the Charrington Bowl in Tolworth.
FUNC provides fun and friendship for everyone at Christ Church between 0 and 100 and help us reflect the community that we share in Jesus Christ.
