What's On For Youth

Encounter meets during the 9.30 service at Christ Church and looks after our young people between 11 and 14. It seeks to help our young people to think through their response to God and Jesus Christ through games and discussion. It is led by our Youth Worker, Nathan Larkin.

Engage is led by Nathan Larkin and meets in the youth room in the parish halls at 5.30 pm on a Sunday afternoon before going to the six30 service. The group is for our young people in Year 10 and above and is seeking to help them think through their response to God and Jesus Christ through sharing food and discussion together.

Girls Night In is a space for girls (year 7 and up) to come and hang out during the week, getting creative, watching chick flicks, cooking food, enjoying discussion and playing silly games. We meet every Wednesday evening during school term time between 7pm and 8.30pm and are always happy to see new members!

Going Deeper is for anyone in year 7-13 and meets on Friday afternoons in the youth room in the parish halls to explore the Bible and its relevance to everyday life. It is led by Carolyn Lucas and Nathan Larkin.

The Hive is a fairtrade after-school café for young people in years 7 to 13. Meeting on Mondays in term time in the Parish Halls from 3pm to 5pm.

Urban Nites is a space for boys (year 7 and up) to come and hang out during the week; having fun, watching movies, cooking food, enjoying discussion.... but mostly playing Playstation and football. Meeting every Tuesday evening during school term time between 7pm and 8.30pm; we're always happy to see new members!
